Today's Dare:
Whatever you put your time, energy, and money into will become more important to you. It's hard to care for something you are not investing in. Along with restraining from negative comments, buy your spouse something or make him something that says, "I was thinking of you today."
Lord,
Let us invest in what is important to you, namely making your Kingdom a reality, by reflecting your character through the picture of marriage. Jesus is our husband, while the church is the submissive bride. Help us to reflect that pure image through our actions, thoughts and attitudes. We cannot overcome our own selves without the help of your Spirit. Lord, help us to be the wives your want us to be.
